When I travel, it’s very important for me to take note of the defining ethnicity and cultural differences in the way people dress all across the world. I can tell a lot about someone by examining the way they clothe them self. With that said, this is a testament of the Traveling Fashionisto:

Dreadsperado Clothing

…to get things rolling…I’l put myself out there! Dreadsperado Clothing is more of a utility than a simple fashion statement. Coming out of Detroit, Michigan by myself (DeAngilo Willis) It started as way for me to easily access my art and engineering tools to get ample work done without stopping. One thing that I saw set me back was the time spent transitioning between being creative, switching between tools that were on a desk on the opposite side of the room, getting back to being creative, having my concentration detoured to take a phone call, then getting back into my creative mode and then having to do things such as change the music for my creative atmosphere.

To solve that, I began to create clothes and tools that were easily attachable to my person. “It was a big hassle being and knowing tons of artists who had their area of comfort (home) where we may get a request to do a job in another location. All of my old associates, including myself, had to take so much time gathering their tools just to do a job or even just to hangout together because wherever we went, our passions came with us. I just happened to be the only one that wanted to change that and speed up the process.”

Now, I get request from random people off the street who see my designs and reach out for personal commissions. I guess making work fashionable is another harbored talent of mine. “Who would have known things would unfold in that fashion? I have sold all of my alterations and designs but I make new things monthly.”
